Invasive weeds are one of the greatest threats to the ecological health of the Darebin Creek Valley. A project partnership between Friends of Darebin Creek, DCMC and Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary has produced a series of 10 videos to provide contributors with the identification skills required to confidently identify 10 priority weeds and record and submit them using the iNaturalist application. Land managers will be able to access the weed data, allowing for their prompt control, conserving the biodiversity values of the Darebin creek valley.
