The Darebin Creek Management Committee is a not for profit organisation that works to restore and care for Darebin Creek and the Darebin Parklands.
The Gleeson Centre is provided by DCMC as a place for communities and organisations to connect and undertake the work that is meaningful for them. Suitable for a range of uses including workshops, seminars and meetings. The room is not for private parties.
A door access code will be supplied on booking. Access is via a door on the eastern side of the building using a supplied code.
Bus – the 508 bus from Moonee Ponds travels along Separation Street and a bus stop within 30 metres of the building.
Train – Alphington Station is located approximately 500 metres away
Bike – The Darebin Creek Shared Trail goes past the building. There is a bike rack at the location.
Open to bookings between 6am and 11pm, 7 days a week
Please leave the room as you found it – if the room is left unclean or untidy you will incur a cleaning fee and a possible suspension of future bookings. Further details, including door access code supplied with booking.




NGO and other community groups (5 or less employees):
1-4 hours $55, 4+ hours $110
Other Groups/Businesses:
1-4 hours $165, 4+ hours $330
Local and unstaffed environmental/community and First Nations groups and Council members:
Building hire is free (prior approval needed)
All prices include GST.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the booking:
100% loss of booking fee.
Cancellations within 5 days of the booking:
50% loss of booking fee.
For non-paying groups, please note that late-notice cancellations may result in fees being applied to any future bookings.
