This November/December volunteers will be monitoring frogs throughout the Darebin Creek Catchment.
Following on from last year’s Award Winning Project with Hanson Quarries we are mapping the location of Growling Grass Frogs (a threatened species) in the Darebin Creek Catchment.
Some of the sites will also be doing eDNA sampling to detect Growling Grass Frogs and Chytrid Fungus – a fungus that attacks the skin of frogs affecting the nervous system and respiration.
To get involved in frog monitoring and/or eDNA sampling contact Therese via email.
